1. Acceptance of terms

By using toot, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you are using toot on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, reside in a supported region, and have a compatible iOS device to use toot. Additional age requirements may apply in your jurisdiction.

3. License

toot grants you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to download and use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer toot except where permitted by law.

4. User conduct

• Use toot only for lawful purposes and in accordance with community guidelines.
• Do not attempt to access other users' accounts without permission.
• Do not transmit spam, malware, or content that infringes intellectual property rights.
• Respect proximity—do not use toot to stalk, harass, or intimidate others.

5. Messaging content

You retain ownership of the content you post through toot. You grant us a license to process and transmit your content for the purpose of delivering the service. You are responsible for the content you share.

6. Paid features

Certain features may require a subscription or in-app purchase. Prices are displayed within the app. Payments are processed by Apple, and Apple's terms apply. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in your App Store settings.

7. Updates and availability

We may modify or discontinue toot features at any time. We are not liable for downtime or service interruptions. We will strive to notify you about material changes in advance.

8. Termination

You may stop using toot at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or misuse the service. Upon termination, sections intended to survive will remain in effect.

9. Disclaimers

toot is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, toot and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our liability for direct damages is limited to the amount you paid for toot in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless toot, its officers, directors, employees, and partners from any claims arising out of your use of the service or violation of these terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, excluding its conflict of law rules. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms periodically. Continued use of toot after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms. If you do not agree, discontinue using the app.
